Express Entry candidates may be frustrated that the CRS score has remained in the 450s for the second week in a row, likely due to the lower number ITAs in this week’s draw compared to most draws over the past year. However, candidates should remain optimistic, remembering that only one month ago the CRS score cutoff hit its lowest point in a year.

Like the previous draw, this week’s draw issued only 3,350 ITAs. Most draws that have taken place in the past year have issued 3,900 ITAs. Selecting a small number of candidates is a contributing factor to the CRS score cutoff.
